Another Goetze^® Sealing Exclusive

The No. 1 manufacturer and brand of innovative sealing solutions for all engines, Federal-Mogul and Goetze^® have become the first to achieve the stringent new Euro 5 emissions validation for the OM500 engine cylinder head gasket. The new gasket – which is used as original equipment on the Mercedes-Benz Actros diesel-powered truck – features a patented technology incorporating multiple embossed spring steel layers that are more flexible and offer greater sealing conformability than competing gaskets. The result is a gasket that provides reliable long-term sealing, improved dynamic response and fatigue resistance, and excellent resistance to stress relaxation forces.

The Actros head gasket is now available within both the Goetze aftermarket product range (#30-030172-00) and the Payen^® range (#AG8280). It covers both 6- (11946 cc) and 8-cylinder (15928 cc) engine models manufactured from 04/1996 to present.
