TTI Sessions, Facilities in Germany Welcome Ukrainian Authority
Federal-Mogul’s Technical Training Institute, a comprehensive programme that brings aftermarket customers and government officials the latest information regarding vehicle component technologies, was pleased to host representatives of the State Road Transport Research Institute-Ukraine for technical discussions and tours of three leading Federal-Mogul facilities in Germany.
Ukraine is one of the fastest growing European spare parts markets, and Federal-Mogul’s broad offering of replacement engine, sealing, steering, braking and service solutions is experiencing tremendous growth there.
Yuriy Shkurotianyy, director spare part certification, and Sergiy Gutarevych, manager spare part certification, toured Federal-Mogul’s Burscheid (piston rings and cylinder liners) and Marienheide (friction) manufacturing facilities and Bad Camberg Friction Technology Centre. The guests reviewed each major engineering and manufacturing operation as well as Federal-Mogul’s extensive quality management process for replacement components.
“I have seen lots of factories of various companies around the world, but not many of them can be compared concerning know-how and quality to the Federal-Mogul plants we visited,” said Mr. Shkurotianyy.
