Champion® Brand Provides Customers with Complete Wiper Blade Solution
Federal-Mogul is making a significant investment in the wiper category to enable distributors and workshops alike to become the consumer’s preferred source of premium OE replacement wipers and related products.
Three recent announcements – an aggressive expansion in market coverage, the availability of an all-new passenger vehicle wiper catalogue, and the introduction of an innovative new Contact® flat blade programme for workshops – emphasize the opportunity available to businesses that rely on the Champion® brand.

The brand’s ever-expanding product range is highlighted in the 2009-2010 Champion Passenger Car Wiper Catalogue (CATCM904), which features a dramatically larger selection of Champion Contact profile wipers for late-model applications. This comprehensive new catalogue covers all Champion standard blades as well as the Champion Contact range, with full-line coverage of 98 percent of the European car parc.
The new catalogue contains a comprehensive, easy-to-use application section as well as an extensive detailed buyers guide and illustrated fitting instructions.
Champion’s coverage expansion is a result, in part, of Federal-Mogul’s growing presence as an OE wiper supplier. Among the latest vehicle models now featuring Champion blades are the Volkswagen Golf MK VI, Polo and Scirocco; Seat Ibiza; and Fiat 500 and Ducato.
To help workshops grow their wiper business, Federal-Mogul has developed an innovative new Contact flat blade concept that simplifies stocking, selection and installation of Champion Contact blades. This unique approach eliminates installation-related concerns through the availability of complete installation packs containing each type of connector necessary for comprehensive market coverage. Together with a compact range of 18 Champion Contact blades, this market-changing approach enables installers to provide fast, efficient, cost-effective service. The Champion Contact workshop pack will be introduced before the end of 2009.
