Ferodo® Brand’s Aggressive Coverage Expansion Continued Throughout 2009

While some manufacturers scaled back new-part introductions due to economic concerns, Federal-Mogul’s Ferodo® brakes team maintained its aggressive coverage expansion in 2009, with 200 new Ferodo pads, discs, and shoes/kits. The Ferodo range covers more than 98,5 percent of the European car population.

The Ferodo team introduced 68 new brake pad references, 107 new brake discs and 25 new shoes/kits last year, and is on pace to meet or exceed these numbers in 2010. But the goal is not simply to have the highest coverage in the market, but also the right applications to help distributors and repair businesses capture new sales and service opportunities. That’s why the most recent Ferodo parts cover such popular late-model applications as the Ford Fiesta VI, Renault Laguna III and Megane III, Dahiatsu Sirion, Dodge Journey and Nitro, and many others.
