2010-11 Nüral® Catalogue Displays Benefits Of Federal-Mogul’s ‘Expert Brands’ Approach
The significant benefits of Federal-Mogul’s “Expert Brands” programme can be seen in the all-new Nüral® Cylinder Components Catalogue, which features a 51-percent increase in pistons coverage, 58-percent increase in piston ring sets, 77-percent rise in cylinder liners and an astounding 81-percent increase in complete cylinder assemblies.
The new catalogue (CATMX901) is available in eight languages, including Arabic, and in both print and convenient downloadable electronic formats.
Completion of this comprehensive new catalogue – featuring some 3,000 part numbers covering LV, LCV and CV engines from 86 manufacturers – marks the final stage of Federal-Mogul’s carefully planned engine brand repositioning programme. The programme aligned each of the company’s four original equipment-focused “Expert Brands” with its primary product category.
“By bringing together all of our OE-quality pistons under the globally respected Nüral brand and all ring sets and cylinder liners under the Goetze® brand, we have been able to dramatically increase application coverage while making life easier for our distributor customers,” said Nathan Mercer, Federal-Mogul product manager, cylinder components, Europe, Middle East and Africa.
In addition to positioning the Nüral and Goetze brands as “one-stop” sources within each corresponding product category, the “Expert Brands” strategy has enabled distributors to eliminate product line duplication. Federal-Mogul also has been able to increase its product-specific marketing efforts among technicians and engine rebuilders.
The new catalogue also features Federal-Mogul’s industry-preferred format for superior usability and accuracy and is the only cylinder components catalogue liked to Tecdoc in the LV, LCV and CV markets.
