New Distribution Centre Brings Superior Availability, Support to Spanish Customers

Federal-Mogul recently completed one of its most important capital investments for the European aftermarket with the grand opening of a state-of-the-art distribution centre in Madrid, Spain. The new facility, which covers more than 8,000 m2 and retains a stock of over 35,000 parts, is a key element of the company’s strategy to provide best-in-class product availability and support to distributors throughout Spain.

“Growing in the Spanish market is a priority for Federal-Mogul,” said Martin Hendricks, Federal-Mogul vice president, Global Aftermarket, Europe, Middle East, Africa and South America. “We plan to strengthen our position with Federal-Mogul’s global leading brands, world-class customer service and effective program management.”

The new Federal-Mogul Aftermarket Coslada logistics centre already distributes more than 110,000 parts monthly but has the capacity to handle nearly twice that volume. Brands available through the facility are Abex®, AE®, ANCO®, Beral®, Carter®, Champion®, FP Diesel®, Fel-Pro®, Ferodo®, Glyco®, Goetze®, MOOG®, National®, Necto®, Nural®, Payen®, Precision®, Sealed Power®, Speed-Pro® and Wagner®.
